I’m Sonal Gamta, originally from India and now based in London. My journey in design began back in 2015 when I dipped my toes into the world of fashion. However, it wasn't long before I found myself drawn to graphic design, and by 2018, I had fully immersed myself in this creative field.
After gaining experience in the edtech industry in India, I decided to deepen my knowledge by pursuing a master's degree in visual communication, which I completed in 2022 from Birmingham City University. Now, I’m happily settled in London, where I continue to pursue my passion for graphic design.
I believe in the power of simplicity, Individuality, and the human touch in my designs. There’s something truly fulfilling about taking an idea and bringing it to life, making it tangible and purposeful in the world.

Over the years, I've figured out a simple way to design that's all about making things clear and useful. I focus on getting what users really need, making tricky stuff easy, and creating designs that are all about the user and what needs to get done.
Discover
I begin by getting to know the problem. This means doing research, analysing things, and talking to the people involved to find out what's important and what needs to be fixed.
Simplify
Once I understand the problem well, I break it down into its main parts and keywords. This makes sure that the solutions I suggest are simple and get the job done effectively.
Design
After gathering and simplifying all the information, I use everything I've learned to solve the problem and achieve the goal with my design. It's about finding the right solution that works best for the situation and gets the job done.
Delivery
In the delivery phase, I ensure the design translates smoothly from concept to reality. If reality doesn't match the vision, I'm there to provide solutions and ensure alignment with the original goals.
Beyond work, I'm all about cooking up vegetarian delights, exploring new places, hanging out with local cats, and diving into fashion shoots whenever I can. Life's too short not to enjoy these simple pleasures!
